front ends--the current source is switched to the one that will be active.

Whest TWO MM/MC Phono Stage - $1,195
Based entirely on the famed PS.20 the new entry level Whest TWO utilizes approx 90% of the former’s electronic design but with a twist, which is about 10% of the MC REF V. Yes, during the design stages of the Whest TWO we made a mad decision to incorporate some of the MC REF V ideas, namely it’s hybrid active/passive RIAA filter stage. The
vp 29 is a solid state phono preamp for use with moving magnet and high output
moving coil cartridges. The vp 29 is designed to amplify an RIAA equalized phono
signal to a hi level signal. It’s cheap cheerful and manufactured in the USA.
The
vp 530 is a USB/tube phono preamp for use with moving magnet and high output
moving coil cartridges. It includes a built in headphone amplifier,
burr-brown analog to digial (A2D) converter with USB output, and RIAA curve/flat
EQ. The vp 530 is designed to amplify an RIAA equalized phono signal to a hi
level signal or provide a USB digital output. Since the unit utilizes tube
circuitry the resulting output signal is more warm and musical than solid state
preamplifiers.
Many
of today's stereo and AV amplifiers and receivers have either eliminated the
phonograph input altogether, or included a low cost - and low performance -
circuit for attaching your turntable. The PP 2 offers superb performance in a
clean and simple package for a very reasonable cost. The NAD PP 2 is a vastly
improved successor to the very popular PP 1, arguably the most successful device

The

features 2 rechargeable internal NiMH dual mono battery packs with Smart Sensing
auto recharge feature. All AC and charging circuits automatically disconnect
when listening in battery mode. The Nova features a cool proximity detection
switch on the front panel with status LEDs for changing mode.
The
Electrocompaniet ECP 1 RIAA/ Phono Preamplifier brings out the best from your
